Matt’s first career was a 15-year stint in the NFL. He was recognized as an undisputed leader on and off the field, being awarded the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2011. Since retiring in 2013 shortly after winning Super Bowl XLVII with the Baltimore Ravens, Matt has built a successful professional speaking/consulting business, as well as being involved in multiple start-up and early stage companies. A graduate of Harvard, Matt brings his diverse background and leadership skills to Matthews Building Solutions, serving as the CEO/President.

Matt Kriha started his career working in the Carpenters’ Union and transitioned from there into concrete work. During the financial downturn in 2008, Matt reinvented his career through education achieving a bachelor’s degree from the Carlson School of Management. Matt previously worked for Renewal by Andersen, Medtronic, Oracle, and SAP. After gaining experience through his various roles, Matt gravitated back to his roots in the construction trade industry. Starting in Sales and Project Management, Matt earned his way to directorship and then leadership as CEO of an exterior construction company.
